Village Discovery Walks

Discover La Chapelle d'Abondance

We have devised three walking routes, which encircle the broad river flood plain which the village now occupies, and allow you to explore and see first hand many historic features which have combined to give the village and its environs its unique identity.

3 Discovery circuits to try out all year long :

Full Circuit : duration 2.30 - elevation change 170m
Alternative 1 via the cheese co-operative : duration 1.30 - elevation change 150m
Altenative 2 around the town center: duration 1.00 - elevation change 80m
