The Snow Shoe trails



Alone or with friends snow shoes provide a perfect way to discover the tranquility and unforgettable views along the 50km of cross country trails in the Val d'Abondance. The most adventurous will rise early and set out quietly in order to discover the astonishing variety of wild animals who call this valley their home. Here you may see Chamois and Ibex deer, and mouflon - a breed of hardy long horned mountain sheep. Those who set out later may simply find their tracks in the snow. Its your choice.



Snow Shoes is one activity open to all, whether or not you are accustomed to walking with snow shoes. from simple walks for beginners to sporting excursions, we invite you to discover the tranquil side to winter in the mountains, among the woods and forests and even follow the footprints of the local wildlife.
