Flowers

An old "tourist" guide of the valley of Abundance, written by a child of the country in 1903-1904, reveals us a vocabulary coloured to speak about our flowers and wild fruits. Thus, the bilberries are called the embrunes, the bilberries are tasted under the pretty name of findrolettes and one can breathe the violent one vanilla perfume who releases himself from  the chicherette.

 The Brook of Chevenne

The wild trout fario lives in its water... but the regular flow of this torrent was until the beginning of the XXème century the fellow worker of the millers, tanners, blacksmiths and sawyers who were used for themselves of this natural energy to actuate their different artifices: grinding stones, bellows, trip hammers, beaters, saws and fullers.
