iathlon, an activity to discover ABSOLUTELY this winter!!!

Biathlon

combines Nordic skiing with rifle target shooting (targets at 10m). This discipline requires participants to develop both fitness and concentration, learning to control their breathing and also manage their effort... It can be practiced on skis, on foot and snowshoes, with targets shooting from a standing and prone position...
Bookings for this activity can be made through Ecole de Ski Français (Places and supply of equipment: an air rifle included). From 8 years age (max 8 pers/group, for 2 hour session). Info: E.S.F La Chapelle d'Abondance Phone: 0033.(0)4.50.73.50.15 or www.esf-lachapelle74.com .

The main shooting stadium and penalty circuits are located beside the Panthiaz car-park and telecabin near the Nordic Ski area reception office.

Fun Space

Beside the Panthiaz telecabin/car park and the Nordic area Reception office, there is a free access to :

- Nordic Park which is reserved as a practice area for cross country skiing (The learner zone provides beginners interesting challenges including bumps, rollers, berms and banked corners).


- Fun Zone/Sledge Space : a dedicate zone available for people with sledges and tobboggans


 The Nordic ski Reception office is open from 8.45 am to 4.30 pm (Closed Sundays) from 17/12/11.
